# Modular llms.txt per product area

**What we look for.** Whether large sections, such as /docs, have their own llms.txt.

**Why it matters.** An agent working in your docs gets a focused index instead of the whole site.

**How to pass.** Add an llms.txt at the root of each large section and link it from the main file.

Run it: `npx backwatch your-site.com --pillar readability` and find `modular-llms-txt` in the report.
